What if I don't see what I want on your Web site?
Any jewelry piece can be custom made in any size, color or style. If you have an idea of something you like, but don’t see it, let us know and we will see if we can make it. We can also re-create beaded jewelry from photos. Just e-mail us for a quote. As for graphics, we will work with you to create exactly what you want. We are great at working off of samples of other things that you like or working with a theme.

How long does an order take to be shipped?
That all depends on what your order is, and what materials we currently have in stock. For jewelry orders, it can take anywhere from two to six weeks. Once you place your order and we receive payment, it usually takes about a week for us to order your materials and then another week to hand make your design. We will give you a timeline for your actual order before you submit payment. For graphic design orders, each project has its own time-line and can take anywhere from a few hours to a few weeks to create.

Can I rush an order?
Yes, depending on the actual order. However, there will be an additional charge for expedited shipping and a rush fee.

What is your return policy?
Everything on this site is cutom made to order, so we are unable to accept returns.

Do you offer jewelry repair?
Yes. Depending on the damage, we will fix any jewelry purchaed from us for free. We can also give you an estimate to fix other jewelry.

What is your jewelry made of ?
We use the finest quality materials we can find. We use sterling silver, 14K gold, swarovski crystal, freshwater pearls, swarovski crystal pearls, semi-precious stones and czech glass beads.

What is the difference between swarovski crystal and czech glass?
Swarovski is one of the world's major suppliers of crystals. Their crystal is fired using a combination of natural minerals and quartz sand. Swarovski is known to be one of the finest crystals produced in the world, due to their clarity, color, cut, polishing and variety. Czech Glass beads have a similar vibrancy and shine, but are a bit more cost effective.

What is the difference between freshwater pearls and swarovski crystal pearls?
Freshwater pearls are typically cultured in a mussel in a lake as opposed to in an oyster in the ocean. Freshwater pearls come in many shapes and colors. These pearls have a more "natural" shape and no two are exactly the same. Swarovski crystal pearls are a high quality faux pearl. Each pearl is created around a crystal core with a swarovski pearl coating, giving each pearl the same weight and feel as a cultured pearl. Each pearl is perfectly round.

Can you change the earwire on earrings?
All of our jewelry is fully custom made for you! For an additional charge you may change any of your earwires to leverbacks, posts or clip-ons, and in most cases you may also change your jewelry design from sterling silver to gold. Some designs already include the price of leverbacks.

Do you offer gift wrapping?
Yes we do! Please visit our EXTRAS PAGE for more information and prices. Our jewelry also comes complimentary wrapped in colorful tissue paper.

Do you offer quantity discounts or sell wholesale?
Yes. We offer discounts on multiples of the same item in the same color (about 10% off). Prices for these discounts are available on the individual jewelry pages. For wholesale quotes, please contact us at cjb@cjbdesigns.com for more information.

How do I know what size jewelry I should order?

Do you have a store?
No we do not have a store. However, we can meet with you to show you the quality of our products. We do not keep a large inventory in stock, but may have what you are looking for. We are currently located in Rocky Point, New York.

Will my jewelry look exactly like the photos?
Everything is hand made, so it is not guaranteed that everything will look exactly the same.

What does design-only mean?
Design only gives you the option of receiving a custom-made graphic design, but printing it yourself. You will be provided with a high quality digital file (a pdf or jpg) which you can print from your own home computer or have it professionally printed.

What is the difference between a pdf and a jpg?
A pdf is a file type that allows you to view information from any application or computer system and share it with anyone. Anyone can open a pdf document as long as they have Adobe Acrobat Reader, a free piece of software available from Adobe. Pdfs allow someone who might have a full professonal graphic design setup on their computer send a high-qulity digital proof to someone who knows nothing about graphic design. A jpg is a photo file, that can also be opened on most any computer. A jpg does not hold as much quality information as a pdf.

Do you offer printing services?
For some designs, yes.

Do you offer any discounts on graphic design services?
Yes, if you order different items with similar designs, we will discount the design fees.
